Sound Healing Meditation

Updated: Jun 20, 2020

People often tell us that they feel like they are being submerged in sound, like the sound waves created by Tibetan Singing Bowls. This visceral experience gives one the sensation of being washed by waves of sound.

I do sound healing for individuals or in group settings. Other practices I've included to deepen the meditative experience are auricular acupuncture, chakra balancing yoga, aromatherapy etc.

Stun Your Readers

"Some people unwind with a nice long bubble bath - others prefer a sound bath or sound immersion."

Never heard of the ancient practice of sound healing? Relaxing musical presentations that predate Christ and have been scientifically linked to the reduction of stress and anxiety. This modality has become increasingly popular in the U.S. Most likely due to our increased interest in health, wellness, meditation, and mindfulness.

What are sound baths?

We define them as an immersion in sound frequency that clears the way to the soul. Tibetans have been using these instruments, which are considered sonic frequency technologies, for more than 2,000 years.

The science:

"It is really indisputable at this point."

There are thousands of scientific studies that prove the health benefits of meditation.

Researchers have found that sound waves affect the human nervous system and decrease blood pressure more than traditional meditation. There is also new research on the benefits of binaural beats, which is when two tones at slightly different frequencies are played in unison. These sounds have been found to reduce anxiety levels, as well as enhance mood states.
